Richard Obear Papers, 1808-1818.

Collection includes four letters written to Captain Richard Obear with instructions for coastwise voyages aboard the Schooner John and the Schooner St. Peter. Two additional letters, written from Calcutta, are also included in this collection. One letter is written by Oliver Obear and the second is written by Ram Chunder Miter. Both letters were written to Ropes and Ward, merchants from Boston, Massachusetts.
